Omega SA is a Swiss luxury manufacturer head-quartered in Switzerland. It was founded in 1848 in Switzerland by Louis Brandt who at that time was 23-year-old. After his death in 1879 his two sons Louis-Paul and César, took over the business. OMEGA watches are chosen by the Britain's Royal Flying Corps and the American army as their official timekeepers in the combat units. They were also the choice of NASA and became the first watch on the moon in 1969. Today they are the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games. One of the wearers of the label is the James Bond himself. Other celebrities who prefer OMEGA are John F. Kennedy, Prince William and Buzz Aldrin. OMEGA is part of the Swatch Group.
