Job Centre Australia

Job Centre Australia was founded by the Australian Government's Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations as a Special Disability Employment Service. Its main purpose is to find and keep employment to people with disabilities by providing them with the training needed. It has two work programs - the Disability Employment Service and the Transition To Work program. The Disability Employment Service aims to help people find and keep the job they need by providing training. The Transition To Work program which was initiated by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care also provides training but for two years to school leavers.
